About us

BIRDING IN LADAKH is a subsidiary company of our own travel agency called HIDDEN NORTH DVENTURES. It is operating in the region of Ladakh, and is managed by Tashi Chotak and his Italian wife Cristina. Both speak fluently several languages (Ladakhi, Hindi, Urdu, English, Italian, German, French), and are active naturalists and bird lovers.

Whenever their busy schedules permit, they are visiting the different areas to spot birds and wild animals of Ladakh, but also the rich flora. Both are interested, and actively participating in preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region.
